So I was just playing on eu 1 and playing my standard game, first couple of rounds were a bit of a mess standard sort of thing, but come to the third round and whats this? The infantry and archers were formed up in a tight group, we had cavalry lined up and containing that basic instinct to charge. It wasn't even just the one team
both teams had actually out of a load of pubbys become two armies with a sense of teamwork and purpose, not relying on individual skill to win but their team mates and every class on the field.
Both teams (50 men each) duked it out for a couple of rounds and everyone had loads of fun, Nobody whined that it was a flat plains map, nobody whined about archers and nobody got bitter when they died. How I see it everyone was really just enjoying being part of a team with some kind of structure, rather than a mob. These couple of rounds has restored all faith in my belief that tactics are not just for clans, but for every player in the world of crpg and that if we try to get this kind of thing to happen as standard, we could all be enjoying the game even more than we already do
Peace Out!
