So here we are, yet another new version:

- Heirloom points are not transferred when an alternate character is sacrificed (Harald) - resolved.
- Duel server not working (cmpxchg8b) - resolved.
- Low capacity servers have the same password system as high capacity ones (cmpxchg8b) - resolved.
- Sacrifice not available for alternate STF chars (Harald) - resolved.
- peoples heads are missing ingame when using new helmets (cmpxchg8b) - resolved.
- no xp in gamemodes without round end (chadz) - closed.
- fixed invisible reach on some weapons
- rageball:
   
  • New respawn tweaks. The entry points that the goals spawn on are ignored. Will choose the closest entrypoint to where you last died, as long as it doesn't have any hostiles within a 5m radius of it.
  • Added agi debuff when carrying ball (agi / 3). Sorry, agi-whores, but this was needed.  ^^
  • Carrier debuff now lasts until someone else picks up the ball
  • Improved the freekick mechanism a bit. Freekick mode duration changed from 10s to 15s.
  • STR bonus to throwing power removed from short throw.
  • Added new icons for ball, enemy goal, and your own goal. Thanks to Final_Boss for making these!
  • Disabled all siege equipment.
  • Slightly decreased the power of the strong throw
  • Added color to the message that tells you a player picked up the ball. Color depends on if the player is in your team or not.
  • Rescaled the goals to be a bit wider.
  • Slightly reduced the width of the player hitbox for detecting collision with ball.
  • If your riding skill > athletics skill, your athletics in rageball = riding skill.
  • If ball is unreachable for 20s, the ball we respawn at the closest entrypoint, and only the other team will be able to pick it up. The same that happens after goals.
  • Decreased throwing speeds for normal and strong throws.
  • Kicks!

And the last part of the announcement: As most of you rageball fans have probably noticed, Ozin has a big part in rageball. That's because most of the code is actually from him. He started doing warband mods only a few weeks ago, and man he did pick it up fast. So we can now officially announce Ozin as our newest dev member of cRPG, and lets all hope for fancy new gamemodes - or fixed old ones :)

What he's done so far is not only great work, but actually fucking amazing.

and similar "jokes". It's because jokes don't get funnier if you repeat them over and over, and I am really tired to read those wannabe-funny comments, instead of a real discussion about the changes. This trolling humour is the last resort for humourless people, because everybody can troll, and it somehow gained the reputation of being funny, but alas... it isn't...  :wink:

Good patch , fucking amazing. Nice job on removing all siege equipment. now my cav gonna own their ass in siege :D

nah srsly, i totally agree with you but sadly this is not just an issue in cRPG community but in general gaming community. ppl have lack of imagination thus copying the stuff they think is fun to a degree where the fun goes away.

ontopic:

i was really excited about the respawn tweak - untill i read thats its only affecting rageball. would the same change be possible to implement on siege? way too many times ive respawned right on top of tons enemies and other annoying respawn stuff like glitch-death post-spawn

Bows have no textures and some/all of the command sounds are fucked. Either I get no sound or the wrong one. It seems like I shout the last command that was shout before: someone says "charge", I try "archers" but the sound is "charge".
