How about throwing some common sense in here. For teamwounding (especially by punching and neither victim dying), he would only receive a warning to begin with(assuming an admin was in the server but didn't directly see it). Yet you want to get him banned for something that he did in one(1) round? Call me crazy, but I thought bans weren't supposed to be used for minor infractions.
You're wanting me to ban someone for a single, minor infraction, based on only one side of the story?
I could have locked this thread but I chose to leave it open so that other administrators could weigh in. Yet why haven't they? My guess would be, based on how fast these things normally get handled, that they don't think anything should be done. You don't just ban someone for a minor infraction, especially when you try to take his perspective into account.
No administrator was on and he most likely thought of Agile as leeching. Obviously he shouldn't have taken things into his own hands and started TWing, if he thought you were leeching he should have taken a screen shot and made a thread here like you.
My point is, if Agile was truly participating to his fullest capabilities, I doubt that this situation would have played out anything like it did. Spawning naked and with a useless weapon like a hammer, is one of those things that is borderline leeching. We've had a discussion about it in the admin thread for example:
3. Seriously... someone is considered not leeching if they spawn naked with just rocks or a long dagger? This is patently absurd to me. The point of the rule of spawning with a weapon is to encourage people to contribute to the battle and not leech, but I feel like the spirit of this rule has been lost.
3. Leeching can be pretty difficult to gauge sometimes, the lines are really blurred. I just try to remember that at the end of the day, active leeching(as opposed to just being afk) is almost entirely harmless. As long as there's some sort of participation, what's the harm in it, really?
In this picture he posted he actually swung his weapon at that guy, granted it was blocked, with the combination of the rest of these screenshots it certainly seems as if he went a bit loco.
This is a clear display of TW.. I am not so certain there should be a ban/he should get an extended ban for repeat offense, but there is clearly evidence of TWing.
Also, I believe TKing/TWing leechers is still against the rules.
Are you guys really suggesting that I never stated he was, in fact, teamwounding?
