I say 100k and lvl 15

This woulld make early retiremnet have a purpose, so in order to switch a heirloom you must
A. possess a heirloom
B. reach lvl 15 to retire(takes average of 4hrs play time)
C. have 100k to spend

I think the 100k should increase each time you switch heirlooms or depending on your generation for example

1st= 100k gold
2nd= 110k gold
3rd= 130k gold

and so forth.

One more thing to consider
If you trade in a masterwork does it count as 3 heirlooms or just switch to another masterwork weapon of your choice.

Switch three heirlooms by this method would mean leveling to 15 three times(about 10 hours of play) and paying a total of 340,000 gold

Yes, and I should have the right to apply it's modifer to another item. Don't worry, I will find another way to kill you shielders :).

I'm not a shielder, nice assumption, have you tried feinting attacks? thats how I kill most shielders, don't even hit their shield once.
& also, No, this is CRPG you have no rights here. Mace is only losing it's crush through ability, it makes me laugh that you now consider it to be useless when it will still be long, fast, knockdown, & amazing amount of blunt damage.

:D move on to the great maul if you still need your 'crutch' through

or better yet, learn to block like everyone else.

On topic, I don't see a problem with heirloom switching other than everyone will be able to follow the new 'cool thing' in CRPG.. IN example, if I could I'd pay to change my heirloom to a bar mace just to abuse the crushthrough mechanics until they're taken away from that silly weapon, I kinda like the permanent feeling of heirlooms, that's why you make a good choice.

You are just trolling. I can block, I hate feinting it's kinda lame. And I like destroying shields :P. Amazing blunt dmg? you really fail. Long Iron Mace has 33 blunt, if you heirloom it into mighty it will have 39 blunt dmg. Amazing? lol, while other 3x heirloomed items have 45+ dmg..
And you know, you don't have problems with shielders while I do have. Then why are you crying about crutchtrough?? Learn to use footwork, I can easily avoid them while you can't. You make me laugh dude.

I do see one problem thought. We already have some lamers who take the most OP weapon of the moment and tripleheirloom it and go for ultimate gayness. If this were to be implemented they would just change to the next OP weapon when they get balanced in the next update.
Why is everybody telling me to think? I think, I just don't show it.

i like this, but i think it should be expensive - lets say 100k per heirloom, increasing with 10k each time you do it. There should be some kin of 'discount' for several heirloomed items, so reheilooming 2'heirloomed items should be 150k and 3*heirloomed items should be 200k.

otherwise you wouldnt need more than 3 heirlooms - everytime you change weapon, you could just change your heirlooms. It should only be for radical changes- ie. if you're changing from archer to 2H, so none of your heirlooms are usefull.
