For the record, we weren't there to troll. A few of our friends still play there and we enjoy playing the occasional game with them.

Its their server, they can do whatever the hell they want.  Try reading the guidelines that cRPG devs require independent server operators to abide by in order to have their servers on the cRPG database to see if they actually broke any guidelines.

I looked it up for you. (I was interested in the information myself.)

Having your server connected to the Database is a privilege you get for providing the community with a place to play.
This means that your server is a public place for everyone.
You are allowed to kick/ban people that intentionally disrupt the gameplay but you are not allowed to kick or ban almost all players except your clan/friends to work around the no password rule.
If behavior like that is reported it will be investigated, if your server does not qualify as a public server anymore it will be disconnected.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with the Haven server. Admins are jerks, Duel rule is only enforced when a haven is involved(Example: They will kick somebody for not dueling a haven, but if a haven won't duel you, they won't do anything half the time.), random map changes to arena, the list goes on and on.


I enjoy the small battle feel of Haven, so I keep coming back, but I think I will be switching to ootl from now on.
